End of lease cleaning in Sydney
Seventeen years of vacate cleans across Sydney and more than 50,000 bonds returned. We clean to the agent's final inspection checklist, not a generic tick list, and we come back free if anything in our scope is flagged.
What a bond clean with us covers
Kitchen
Oven, griller and racks degreased, rangehood filters, splashback, cupboards inside and out, benchtops, sink and taps polished, skirting and floors.
Bathrooms and laundry
Soap scum and limescale removed from tiles, screens and taps, toilets sanitised inside and behind, mirrors streak-free, exhaust vents and cabinets cleaned.
Living areas and bedrooms
Walls spot-cleaned, light switches, power points, skirting boards, doors and door frames, wardrobes inside, blinds and window tracks, cobwebs removed.
Windows, floors and balcony
Internal windows and reachable external glass, tracks and sills, hard floors mopped, carpets vacuumed and steam cleaned as an add-on, balcony swept.
The full room-by-room list is on our bond back cleaning checklist, which you can work through yourself before the inspection.
Why bond cleans get rejected in Sydney
In our experience the same five items cause almost every re-clean: an oven that was wiped rather than degreased, bathroom mould in silicone and grout, window tracks and flyscreens, carpet without a steam cleaning receipt, and dust on skirting boards and door frames. We treat those as the priority list rather than the last thing on the day.
Mould in particular is the one item a surface clean will not fix — see mould removal in Sydney for how we treat it, and carpet cleaning costs for what steam cleaning adds.
Where we clean
We work across the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, CBD, North Shore and Lower North Shore. Our busiest areas are Potts Point and Elizabeth Bay and the Eastern Suburbs, where we know the agents and what they check.
End of lease cleaning FAQs
What does end of lease cleaning cost in Sydney?
Most Sydney apartments fall between $290 and $450 for a one-bedroom and $380 to $650 for a two-bedroom, depending on condition, oven state and whether carpet steam cleaning is included. We quote on the actual property rather than a flat rate, so there are no surprises on the day.
Does end of lease cleaning include carpet steam cleaning?
Carpet steam cleaning is a separate service, and most Sydney leases require it where carpet is installed. We bundle it with the bond clean so you get one receipt to hand the agent, which is what most agents ask for.
What is the bond back guarantee?
If the agent or landlord flags a cleaning item from our scope at the final inspection, we return and fix it free of charge. Report it within 72 hours of the inspection and the property needs to be vacant and in the same condition as when we finished.
How long does a bond clean take?
A one-bedroom apartment usually takes 3 to 5 hours, a two-bedroom 5 to 7 hours, and a house a full day with a team. Ovens in poor condition and heavy mould add time.
Do I need to be there?
No. Most clients leave keys with the agent or in a lockbox. We send photos when we finish and an itemised invoice you can forward to your property manager.
