Steam carpet cleaning in Sydney

Hot water extraction for rentals, homes and offices across Sydney. Proper dwell time, proper extraction, and an itemised receipt your property manager will accept at the final inspection.

How we clean carpet

Inspect and pre-vacuum

We check fibre type, backing and any pre-existing damage, then vacuum thoroughly. Most soil in a Sydney carpet is dry grit — removing it first is what makes the extraction work.

Pre-spray and agitate

A pH-appropriate pre-spray is applied to traffic lanes and left to dwell, then agitated so the solution reaches the base of the pile rather than sitting on top.

Hot water extraction

Truck-quality hot water extraction flushes the carpet and pulls the soil straight back out. This is the method almost every Sydney agent and manufacturer warranty specifies.

Spot treatment and drying

Remaining spots are treated individually, then we groom the pile and set airflow. Carpets are usually touch-dry in 3 to 6 hours depending on humidity.

Steam cleaning versus dry cleaning

Dry or encapsulation cleaning is quicker to dry and suits offices that cannot close. For rentals, steam cleaning is the safer choice: it removes more soil, it is what most leases name, and it is the method carpet manufacturers specify for warranty. If your carpet is wool or a delicate natural fibre we adjust the solution and heat rather than refuse the job.

Carpet cleaning as part of a bond clean

Most Sydney leases require professional carpet cleaning where carpet is installed. Booking it with your end of lease clean means one visit, one invoice and correct sequencing, so carpets are cleaned last and dry before handover. See carpet cleaning costs in Sydney for detailed pricing.

Carpet steam cleaning FAQs

How much does carpet steam cleaning cost in Sydney?

As a guide, around $35 to $50 per room for a standard bedroom, with lounge rooms and stairs priced separately. Bundled with an end of lease clean it usually works out cheaper than booking separately. Full pricing detail is on our carpet cleaning cost page.

How long does carpet take to dry?

Typically 3 to 6 hours with windows open and fans running. In humid Sydney summers or a closed apartment it can be closer to 8 hours, so we schedule vacate cleans to allow for it.

Will steam cleaning remove all stains?

Most food, drink and traffic soiling comes out. Dye stains, bleach marks, pet urine that has reached the underlay and burns are permanent damage rather than soiling — we tell you before we start rather than after.

Do agents accept your carpet cleaning receipt?

Yes. We issue an itemised tax invoice naming the property and the rooms cleaned, which is what Sydney property managers ask for at the final inspection.

Is steam cleaning safe for pets and kids?

Hot water extraction relies mainly on heat and water pressure, and the solutions we use are low-residue. Keep pets and children off the carpet until it is dry.
